Cllr Marsh proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection to this application, as it has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, but would suggest similar conditions are imposed regarding tree retention and protection as per the permission granted for this site under application 04/08422/PLF, seconded Cllr Mann, vote: 8 in favour 1 abstention.
  2. DC/06/0124/PLF/WESTES - Full Planning Permission
    Erection of single storey extensions to side/rear at 17 Southcote Close, South Cave for Mr and Mrs Dann. Cllr Harrison proposed that the Parish Council raises no objection to this application as it has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, seconded Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
  3. DC/06/00286/PLF/WESTES - Full Planning Permission
    Erection of a conservatory and swimming pool to rear at 75 Beverley Road, South Cave for Mr and Mrs Hull. Cllr Marsh proposed that the Parish Council recommends refusal of this application, due to dominance and massing, and concerns as outlined in the LPA's initial refusal of application 05/04434/PLF have not been addressed; there is also an adverse visual effect from high landscape value land, including The Wolds Way, seconded Cllr Harrison, All in favour.
  4. DC/05/08903/PLF/WESTES/DG1 - Full Planning Permission
    Erection of detached garage to the rear following demolition of existing (amended siting plans) at 32 Market Place, South Cave for Mr and Mrs Wiseman. Cllr Mann proposed that the Parish Council raises no objection to this application as it has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, and also has no adverse effect on the character and appearance of the Conservation Area, seconded Cllr Lenton, All in favour.
  5. DC/05/08722/PLF/WESTES - Full Planning Permission
    Alteration of existing windows and removal of door to front elevation, external brick cladding to existing rear elevation and single storey extensions to rear, erection of balcony to rear and side elevation and alterations including introduction of pitched roof to existing garage at 37 Bacchus Lane, South Cave for Mr and Mrs Smith. Cllr Mann proposed that the Parish Council raises no objection to this application, as it has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, seconded Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
  6. DC/06/00794/STPLF/STRAT - Full Planning Permission
    Extension to existing minerals processing area to accommodate concrete batching plant in part of worked out quarry together with associated landscaping at South Cave Quarry, Station Road, South Cave for W Clifford Watts Ltd. Cllr Marsh proposed that the Parish Council raises no objection to this application, as it has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, and would welcome the use of an existing facility, and the increase in employment opportunities it provides; and that whilst not relevant to the application itself, the LPA should be advised that there is a slight inaccuracy in the application; insomuch as the other land owned by the applicants (marked in blue) is not correct in one instance, seconded Cllr Mann, vote: 8 in favour 1 against.

  1. App No. 4537 (s211): fell trees at The Hollies, Bacchus Lane, South Cave. Cllr Marsh proposed that the Parish Council defer to the opinion of the East Riding Tree Officer, seconded Cllr Mann, All in favour.
