• A63 North Cave to South Cave Safety Barrier Installation

January 3rd, 2019 Posted by Local News 0 thoughts on “• A63 North Cave to South Cave Safety Barrier Installation”

As Highways England’s contractor in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, we are writing to advise you of planned roadworks due to commence on the A63 between North Cave and South Cave.

What’s happening and when?

Work is expected to start on 14 January 2019 and until April 2019. It includes installing approximately 4km of new safety barrier in the eastbound and westbound verges and removing and replacing 7 lighting columns. We’re also replacing 6 traffic signs and permanently closing the disused VOSA layby in the westbound carriageway.

Clock the link below for full communication:

Walking Netball

January 3rd, 2019 Posted by Local News 0 thoughts on “Walking Netball”

Need to feel fitter? How about Walking Netball?

The idea started in Hull as a fun way to encourage ladies to keep fit, and now WI and Netball England are starting groups everywhere.

You don’t have to have played before, and groups adapt activities around players abilities and disabilities. The important thing is having fun while you exercise.

Not sure? Come and have a look, we meet at South Cave Sports Centre 11 – 12 on Tuesday mornings.
