The ‘Ukraine Host Support’ group has been set up in anticipation of welcoming Ukrainian guests to South Cave and the surrounding area. We hope to help sponsors feel equipped and ready to host for their guests. The group aim is to provide practical, social and community support in specific ways that are requested by the sponsor. We will be flexible in our approach and be guided by sponsors and guests as to what help is required, and if and when help is needed. We thank everyone so far for the many offers of practical help, offers of equipment, transport, shopping, meals, educational support and social events. We will happily collaborate with and signpost to other organisations too if any requests are outside of our capacity or capabilities. To find out more, look out for updates in the Grapevine magazine, the Parish Council newsletter, flyers and posters. For more regular updates please request to join ‘Ukraine Host Support’ on Facebook.
Many thanks
C Leighton
